The final drive oil should be replaced every 20,000 km. This is a very simple task to perform if you are only changing the oil. If you are expanding and also servicing the splines on the drive shaft then this is a little more effort but still VERY easy for a user to do with a little direction.
Required Tools
Torx 30, 40, 45, 50
Allen 6mm
Torque wrench
Torque Specifications
Fill plug - 25Nm (18.44lb-ft)
Drain plug - 20Nm (14.75lb-ft)
